Held over a most spectacular route and welcoming setting, with wonderful views of the local hills and mountains such as Clachnaben, Bennachie, Mount Keen, Lochnagar, Beinn a Bhuird and Ben Avon along the route.

The first Race (2009), was won by Andrew Allday in 52mins 27secs. The first female was Laura Petrie in 1hr 7mins 48secs.

2011 race will be part of the Torphins Gala celebrations on Saturday 20st August and will start at 2pm from Torphins Park. The cost will be £6 per person (over 18s only).

Rumour has it that both record holders will be back this year to try and defend their titles, so this race is sure to be both enjoyable and highly competitive.
